Who are you?

My name is Diana McClaurin and I’m a 50+ year old mom with 2 kids, 2 dogs, and 3 cats, and 1 husband living in the Chicago area. I’ve been following Dr. Mindy Pelz for awhile and am so inspired by her passion for improving the lives of women everywhere. I was certified as a lifestyle coach after the Spring 2024 training which was the first wave of coaching training in her vision of changing women’s healthcare across the globe! Her new online coaching course included lessons given by Dr. Mindy on various topics covering her entire approach to women’s health. The training also included live coaching calls specific to the coaches. Once complete, I received a 100% on the FLAG (Fasting Like a Girl) test at the end. Who is Dr. Mindy Pelz?

Dr. Mindy is a world renowned author, speaker, and doctor who has written several best sellers including Fast Like a Girl, Eat Like a Girl (new), and The Menopause Reset. She has refined her approach to health over 30+ years of medical practice and uses leading scientists and research. You can find hundreds of free YouTube videos supporting her mission to give women control over their health. Her approaches have worked for millions worldwide at all stages in life. In 2024, she began her first certified coaching program to help equip women leaders to spread her message. I’m excited to be a certified coach of Dr. Mindy Pelz.

How do I get started?

For individual health concerns and advice, send an email to hormonelifestyle@gmail.com, and I’ll give you a 30 minute free consultation over the phone/zoom. My passion aligns with Dr. Mindy. I want to help women who don’t get answers from our healthcare system find the answers they need to live strong and healthy! If you’ve struggled for years or maybe just need more personalized help, I have several packages to pick from. My prices are temporarily reduced as I build my business. The packages include periodic meetings, zoom calls, email summaries, and follow-up messages each month. We’ll come up with a plan together that works for your lifestyle and pace. Being flexible and adapting to your challenges is all part of the process.

As I grow my business I’ll be offering more community platforms to take a class through the local libraries, park districts, churches, schools, healthcare facilities and more. If you have a small group that would like to host a class and have me speak, just send me an email! Talks with 6 or more people lasting 1-1.5 hours are complimentary as I build my business. (subject to change)

What are the costs for individual lifestyle coaching?

Ideally prices are based on the complexity and severity of your health issues.  You may have trouble putting your health first with your other priorities. Your commitment to your health will determine your outcomes. Consider how you feel right now, whether you have answers and a plan, and what path your health is taking. Dr. Mindy provided training to her certified coaches about the time needed to support clients before, during and after meetings to ensure results. I want to be transparent about my services and the time and effort I dedicate. 

  • Currently I’m offering reduced rates as I build my business. 

  • Prices are based on $25/hour of work which includes pre and post meeting work.

  • Before each meeting, I study your history, intake survey, symptoms, challenges, and lifestyle.

  • After each meeting, I follow-up with research, summary emails, and communications specific to your health struggles.

Information is easy and free on the internet. You don’t need just information…you need support and a plan that will work for your life long term.

PACKAGES include…

  • COCOA: $150 ~ single 2 hour meeting with pre and post work

  • LIGHT ROAST: $350 ~ three (3) 1.5 hour in person meetings plus 2 optional 30 minute calls/zooms.

  • MEDIUM ROAST: $550 ~ five (5) 1.5 hour in person meetings plus 3 optional 30 minute calls/zooms.

  • DARK ROAST: $750 - seven (7) 1.5 hour in person meetings plus 4 optional 30 minute calls/zooms.

What is your coaching style?

I believe women have amazing powerful minds and bodies. We care about those around us but we don’t always care about ourselves with the same dedication. We need to take the time for our own health before diseases and pain have their toll. I’ll be on your team in helping you walk this exciting and enlightening journey so you can gain a college education in your own health….one that you will rely on as you learn to age strong! I love helping others and hearing how their life has turned around as they implement ideas they’ve never heard before. Your success only happens because of what you do! I’m the cheerleader, coach, inspiration giver, path redirector, and positive force for you!

How will I get better?

I believe our body is beautifully and wonderfully made. The greatest healer of all disease did not go to medical school- it’s our own body and its amazing design including its immune system, stem cells, hormone regulation, process of autophagy, and more. Our body knows more than any doctor how to heal itself. Let’s give it the ingredients for healing and remove the toxins that are preventing the healing.

What are the keys to success?

Most people make permanent change with slow, consistent, manageable steps. Thankfully, small changes can have HUGE impacts! Each person needs to start in a different place depending on their own personality, history with diets, health history, current life stage, health habits, and stress level. It’s not about motivation though. It’s about momentum. Let’s work together on a few small things and work with our body instead of against it.

The key is to create a Toolbox that works for you and your lifestyle. The success does not depend on your motivation or self-discipline, or avoiding all your favorite foods. Many of our struggles with weight and food are chemically driven. I’ll give you that understanding so you can better understand how the food you eat interacts with the biology of how you’re made. Respect and honor your body and learn how to listen to it and respond in a way that supports it. This isn’t information that is taught by parents or by schools. But it’s some of the most important information in a person’s life! The self-awareness and understanding of our food and the interaction with our body and environment is what makes your life full and thriving.

What are the key principles that restore my health?

Information is everywhere but learning how to make it really work for you is the challenge. Dr. Mindy Pelz has many concepts and ideas depending on each person’s health needs. Here are a few key points…

1) Managing your insulin is absolutely critical to overall health. Insulin impacts every system in our body and affects hormones, inflammation, hunger signals, use of fat for energy, sleep, fatigue/mitochondrial function, moods, aches/pains, mental clarity, memory, and more and more!

2) Humans are designed with 2 metabolic systems and by switching between the sugar burning and the fat burning systems we not only burn excess fat but our bodies heal and thrive! How this is done is different for men and women-and-different for women depending on our hormonal stage.

I’ve studied health research and innovations for over 20 years as a passion beginning with my own health journey.
